The Bible advocates capital punishment...

If they follow the same train of thought as in other issues, they should be PRO capital punishment.  They quote Sacred Scriptures and Divine Intervention supporting action agains homosexuality and they base their issues with contraception, embryonic stem cell research, IVF and euthanasia all on Sacred Scripture and Divine Inspiration.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.
Deuteronomy 21:18-21“If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they discipline him, will not listen to them, then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gate of the place where he lives, and they shall say to the elders of his city, ‘This our son is stubborn and rebellious; he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.’ Then all the men of the city shall stone him to death with stones. So you shall purge the evil from your midst, and all Israel shall hear, and fear.”
If they are basing their beliefs on Sacred Scripture and Divine Inspiration they should welcome capital punishment. Leviticus and Dueteronomy both advocate stoning to death those who practice homosexuality, stubbornness, rebelliousness, gluttony and drunkedness as well as disobedience.
I can understand their reversal of thought on capital punishment. If this view was upheld and embraced we would no longer have any teenagers, artists, actors, great chefs, corporate leaders, scientists, physicians or politicians in addition to the many who are all guilty of these “sins.”
If these Divinely Inspired and Sacred Scriptures would have been strictly enforced since their inception we would still be living in pre-Christian conditions.

We probably would not have had a Jesus Christ to teach us the true meaning of love, charity and mercy. Had Joseph gotten so pissed off with His rebelliousness that he would have had all of the men of the city stone Him to death before He was able to complete His mission on earth.

Someone just posted this on Facebook. I loved it and had to share.
